Our commitment

GLŌBA operates on a demand-first model. This means your pledge is fully refundable in all cases where a confirmed show date does not materialise. No money leaves your account until a date is confirmed.

How pledges work

When you place a pledge, we place an authorisation hold on your payment method for the pledge amount. This is not a charge — it reserves the funds but does not settle them. Your bank may show this as a pending transaction.

The hold is released or converted to a charge only in one of the following scenarios:

  • A confirmed show date is announced for your city — the hold settles as a ticket purchase at the pledged amount.
  • The campaign window closes without reaching the threshold — the hold is released automatically within 3–5 business days.
  • You cancel your pledge manually before a date is confirmed — the hold is released within 3–5 business days.

Cancellations

You may cancel your pledge at any time before a show date is confirmed by signing into your account and selecting "Cancel pledge." Once a date is confirmed and the hold has settled, standard event cancellation terms apply.

If a confirmed show is cancelled

In the rare event that a show is cancelled after your pledge has converted to a ticket purchase, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket amount. Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days of the cancellation announcement.
