When you use GLŌBA, we collect the following information:
- Account information — name and email address when you sign up or place a pledge.
- Payment information — card details processed and stored securely by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
- Pledge data — which artists and cities you have pledged for, and the amounts.
- Usage data — pages visited, browser type, device type, and approximate location (country/city level) via IP address.
How we use your data
- To process and manage your pledges
- To notify you when a city reaches its threshold or a show is confirmed
- To share aggregated, anonymised demand data with promoters and venues (we never share your personal details)
- To improve the platform and understand how it is used
- To send you transactional emails related to your pledges (you can opt out of marketing emails at any time)
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Payment processors — to handle pledge authorisations and settlements.
- Infrastructure providers — hosting and analytics services bound by data processing agreements.
- Promoters and venues — aggregated, anonymised demand signals only. No names or contact details.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Pledge records are retained for seven years for financial compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.
Your rights
