How it works

From artist to sold-out show.

Proof first. Shows second. How a pledge becomes a sold-out night.

Fully refundable — your card is never charged until a show is confirmed.

The gap

The audience crossed the border. The show didn't.

Southern African music is everywhere the diaspora is — except on stage. GLŌBA exists to close that distance.

The mechanic

Your pledge becomes a sold-out night.

A pledge is a signal. Enough signals become proof. Proof is what turns an empty calendar into a confirmed show.

01 · It starts with you
Your pledge
02 · Enough pledges
Demand threshold reached
03 · The brief goes out
Promoters compete
04 · The booking lands

We sign Southern African artists already loved across the diaspora.

04
The booking

Promoter commits — show is confirmed

The promoter says yes and the show locks. GLŌBA runs ticketing, branding, settlement — and as much logistics as they want.

Visas, flights & accommodation — GLŌBA or promoter
Marketing & on-ground ops — GLŌBA or promoter
Phase 3 — Show
05
The show

The artist lands. The show happens.

Pledges become tickets. The artist plays to a room built for them — proven before a single flight was booked.
Pledgers notified and converted to ticket holders
Artist travels with full GLŌBA logistics support
Post-show settlement handled by GLŌBA
The audience was always there. We just built the proof — so the show could finally come home.
GLŌBA — Demand first. Culture always.

FAQ

Common questions

Is GLŌBA only for Southern African artists?

For now, yes. Amapiano, Afrohouse, Gqom, Hip-hop & R&B, 3-Step — where we know the market, the diaspora, and the gap. The focus is intentional.

How much does a pledge cost?

Low by design — enough to show real intent, not pre-sell a ticket. The exact amount varies by artist and city.

When does my card get charged?

Only when a show is confirmed for your city. Until then nothing leaves your account — and if it doesn't happen, the hold releases automatically.

What if my city doesn't hit threshold?

Your pledge is fully released — no charge, no refund process needed. It simply never settles.

I'm a promoter — do I have to use GLŌBA for everything?

No. GLŌBA always handles ticketing, branding and settlement — beyond that, you choose. See the promoters page for the full tier breakdown.

I'm an artist — how do I get on the roster?

GLŌBA approaches artists directly, but if you think there's a fit, you can apply. Submit an application here.

Why it works

From a cold pitch to a sure thing.

The old way asks promoters to gamble on a hunch. GLŌBA hands them proof.

The old way
Demand is a guess — booked on instinct and hope
Promoters carry all the financial risk
Diaspora shows rarely get routed at all
The GLŌBA way
Demand is verified before a date is set
The risk is removed before the brief is opened
The show finally reaches the people who want it

The roster

The artists behind the movement.

A considered selection of Southern African talent — with more joining as cities light up.

We're finalising our first wave of signings across Southern Africa. The roster will be announced once demand proves out the market.
